Hour Follows Hour
As a society we determine significance by how something fits a finite definition. Length, width, shape, weight, color, texture, smell, taste, personal and intrinsic value. All of these are examples of our physical existence. We "exist" to experience tangency, to categorize subsistence into boxes. We then procede to store those boxes into our thin perception of what we can wrap our understanding around. Existentialism threatens the essense of the boxes. It's easier for the individual to embrace a state of ignorance rather than question what could possibly exposes their naïveté. Our relationship with Jesus Christ has been stuffed into a box labeled "Christianity." Theologians spend hours and dollars into creating something that explains the nature and teachings of God. We are equally as guilty, but instead we waste our lives. We try to make Jesus definable, to confine him to our limited understanding of who he really is. But what we cannot realize is that Jesus came to break the boundaries of our understanding as a human representation of what we will never grasp: God IS! He was before philisophical thought was formed. He will continue upon a infinite plan of existence, never to be explained, or disected or understood. why do you try to hold on to what you'll never get a hold on...you wouldn't try to put the ocean in a paper cup.
